I'm wondering what Richard thinks about it all ! He must have at least glanced at a copy.

He MAY be not interested at all. Madonna once said she's never read any book on her however I firmly believe she's lying about it, you may agree Richard could state something like that and be true but NOT Madonna.

I agree... Richard won't read it and will probably keep his whole family from reading it. He should read it though... he wasn't always very nice to his sister who adored him!

Well, he won't be able to keep them from reading it forever.

Yep - that's true...... he has adult children who can think for themselves...... they may want to read about their aunt that they never knew.

Ev is still alive and turned 90 earlier this year! I sent her a book and her response was a "20 out of 10" rating and said that I "could not have written a better book unless [I] was right there when everything happened." I consider it the highest of compliments!

If he tries to do that, he may make them really want to read it. It could become more attractive to them if it's forbidden....

That is high praise indeed and very well deserved !

Evelyn Wallace came across in the book as a very warm and loving person and I did wonder at how someone like that managed to work for someone like Agnes Carpenter for so long. I feel that part of the reason why she did so was to be close to Karen and to keep an eye on things.

The bit in the book when Evelyn says she wants to visit Karen and Agnes says that visitors are not allowed, I did want the next few lines to say that Evelyn told Agnes where she could shove her job and went to New York anyway !

Just the fact that she was willing to talk and let the story be known is praise to her....I wish I could tell her that!!! whistling.gif Hey, Randy....can you relay that?

Certainly! And I did express that to Ev's best friend when I met with her in Downey this past week. I am SO glad Ev finally decided to speak...
