Just a quick question...

Were the known as "THE Carpenters" or just "Carpenters"?

I wanna put the right thing in my iPod!!

What do you list them under on your iPod?

I don't have an ipod, but on my itunes they are listed as both "The Carpenters" and "Carpenters" depending on how they are listed when they are downloaded.

I've never thought to change them.

I would say that "Carpenters" is the correct listing as there was no "The" on their logo and it's how all their albums and so an appear.

I have them all listed as The Carpenters, except for the karaoke tracks, which are Carpenters. That way, I can pick one or the other in the artist menu.

They wanted to be called "Carpenters". Not a whole lot of people have cooperated with that, but on their appearance on "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson, he says, "Here they are... Carpenters!"

I have a iPod touch though I don't have them on my iTunes yet I would list them as Carpenters although I used to say the carpenters when I was younger guess I grew out of saying that
