Is Karen Listening ? (part 2)

Following on from the previous "Is Karen Listening?" thread (now closed) I wanted to share with you something that happened to me today.
I was pottering around the kitchen this afternoon and had the radio on and they were playing some oldies as well as new stuff and I said to myself "I hope that they play some Carpenters". I carried on listening and doing my chores for a good hour or so, but heard no Carpenters on the radio.
Anyway, I finished doing what I was doing and turned the radio off, but a few hours later when I came back to the kitchen and turn the radio on again, I happened to time it perfectly to hear the end of a station jingle and then the opening bars of "I Won't Last A Day Without You". I know it sounds like a coincidence, but the timing was just so perfect and it does make me think that Karen picked up on my desire to hear her singing and just helped make it happen.
If I had been just a minute or so later, the song would have started already. Also, I'd changed my radio in the kitchen today for one that picks up a wider variety of stations and normally I wouldn't have had this particular radio station on at all.
Anyway it really made my afternoon and I turned it up and sang along !
Was Karen listening ?

The second thread was closed for a reason ... it got too heated. I bet you just want people to turn round and agree with you. I don't. It could have happened, but blah I don't think so. Good day

Perhaps it was a coincidence.

If you read my first comment, I said it COULD BE POSSIBLE. If you need that translating, then I will do that for you!

No, I don't just want to be agreed with and I'm interested to hear what people think from all sides of such a debate.
These sorts of discussions can be lively without getting so heated that they have to be closed down.
Why are you so adamant that Karen wasn't somehow listening ?

That's fine. But I just feel that everyone has said what they think already. Its not a conversation that everyone will agree on, because no-one can proof either way.
And I just find it a little too far fetched. That's not to say that it is impossible. That's my opinion, and I've said plenty of times in previous posts on the original topic why I don't think she is listening. You were part of that conversation and have read my reasons. Just as I have read what you have to say on the subject. I don't understand why you are re-asking something that's been thoroughly discussed on here already. But hey, maybe you just wanna debate it further, but personally I feel that it will get us no-where.

I think it would be such a futile wish for her to satisfy from BEYOND THE GRAVE, listening to a Carpenters song on the radio... I'd rather believe in that teen girl who was anorectic and said she dreamt about Karen telling her to get out of it. Sounds more like an IMPORTANT thing a deceased people would do for a living one, playing songs on the radio sounds not.

I agree with that sentiment.

Hi all, couldn't resist popping in on this one again.
Check out synchronicity sometime, meaningful coincidences. I remember a few years back I was in LA and decided to head home and got on the 101 only to realize it was a parking lot. So I quickly exited and decided to head over to the former A&M Studios since I was in the area and kill some time until the traffic started moving. As I approached the studio Superstar came on. Karen isn't a DJ haunting a radio station. Another minor coincidence happened just today. I was heading over to a trail in my car for a walk. I was listening to the radio and remembered I was going to get some gas first and got a little upset with myself saying "I forgot to get gas!" and as I said the word gas the guy on the radio says the word gasoline. I've had this happen driving on the freeway thinking about something, saying a phrase to myself, seeing it on a billboard and hearing on a radio jingle all at the same time.
A Karen synch has absolutely nothing to do with any sort of priority on her part, its what has meaning to you at the time.
Synchronicity, check it out.

But the things that are coincidences that you have experienced, they are very common! Superstar is one of their best hits.. It’s played so many times everyday on my most radio stations. Plus, the word gasoline is not an unusual word. I think if people have this desire to feel special and connected to someone, they'll make everything out of nothing. If that comforts you, then fine. But don't expect me to all of a sudden believe its Karen and go wow your right! That does defy every other possible explanation! Well then don't, because it doesn't even come close.
