Yes...I do believe people can hear us from the other side. I believe they are only in another dimension, which at a higher vibrational level than ours. So they are here, but we don't see them. Just my opinion, mind you!!

That's fair enough. I would like to think that people who die have not really gone, and can still hear us. I do tend to think more on the side of a skeptical though. I believe that as energy, we transform and it has to go somewhere, the laws of physics demand it to. But I am careful not to say out right that there are 'spirits' and 'ghosts'. I think this idea is a comfort to those that need that comfort and reassurance about loved ones that have passed on.

This is getting deep.

But it is interesting!! lol its sometimes alright to have a 'deep' conversation.

I believe in "spirits" and "other energies".......too many unexplained events......

I sincerely believe all of us possess an inherent ability to better our lives by listening to spirits. Though human nature remains sad due to "beliefs" that limit people: by getting in the way of the realization that we all have this ability. It remains all of our responsibility to help raise humanity's consciousness; then, there will be world peace. This is the reason it stays paramount to learn how to listen to spirits' messages--not merely with your mind but your heart. It is only at that time one will hear when a spirit speaks. One's body then simply vibrates or resonates to that message.

I believe I have had "proof'"of the influence from beyond from my experience with a Barry Manilow concert from 2002!! As many of you may have already read....I asked my mother on her grave to "prove" she was watching from over there.... and get me onstage to sing with Barry Manilow. At concerts, he often asks someone from the audience to come onstage and sine "Can't Smile Without You". I said it would prove she was watching and knew what was happening. I even told her that Barry's mother was there and to get help from her.
Anyway.... the night before the concert, I had a dream that I was picked to go onstage and even "saw" the sign I held up that Barry picked. The day of the concert, I made that same sign...same wording...and went hopefully to the concert that night(by myself). When Barry started the "Can't Smile" intro...I jumped up and held my sign high......at which point, the lights came up and he turned and read my sign, which said, "Change My Life Tonight"! Then he said I was to come onstage with him!!! and that was it......... After it was all over, I went back to my seat and just said to myself...."Thanks, Mom"!

Maybe YOU made it happen. Our brains still work, even when we sleep. In fact, the brain often solves problems while we are sleeping and people have experienced dreams that answer their problem or aim. Perhaps you needed to believe that your mum is still around and gave yourself a challenge that would be difficult enough for you to consider it as 'proof' of this. I'm not saying that this was not your mother trying to contact from beyond. I'm just offering an alternative explanation.

True - you have to consider alternatives...... but I think it was Cheryl's mom too!

Weirdest thing ever...... heard my Mom say my name..... heard it plain as day..... no one else in the room and Mom had been gone for about 2 years ...... was as if she said my name right next to me........ I've been a believer ever since........

True...we only use about 10 percent of our brain's capability. Who knows.....??

Betossantana you beat me to it! LOL I learned that in the lectures that I have a exam on today!! We use so much of our brains, not all but your actually using more of the brain that 10%! I mean, just take everyday activities e.g, going to a lecture. Sitting there and listening and learning is taking so much use of the brain and the complexity is mind blowing. But we never really realize this until we learn about it, because our brains do it automatically.
