Karen's Performance Persona

Pookeysmom's Photo Pookeysmom 29 May 2009

Today I was watching the Osaka '77 performance and I noticed Karen at her best during the "Strike Up The Band" performance, as well as the ending..."Jambalaya"......although she looked terribly thin(her arms), but seemed to enjoy her show so very much...like that was her whole life.....and it was her whole being. She seemed charged from the response of the audience and if she ever felt tired, she never showed it at all. I marvel still at her.

I've noticed this as well, although to be honest, I've not seen the concert you're talking about.

I've often thought that when she was on stage, Karen didn't have to think about any of the other stuff and that she wanted to enjoy every single moment for as long as possible.

I agree that the audience response must have given her a charge and made her feel really good about herself. I guess that feeling must have left her pretty soon after she came of stage and went back to reality.
