Thought On The Backing Choirs

I don't feel this way about all of the choirs on the Carpenters' albums.....but on the "Music, Music, Music" special, does anyone else feel the the backing choir on the medley sounds like a 1940's disney soundtrack?
It seems like at times the choirs that are backing have a very immature tone, possibly to show a difference between their tone and Karen's?? I don't know...just thought I'd ask.

I actually liked the choir. They had a lovely sound. Especially the 1980 MEDLEY. I think they definately complimented the Carpenters. And also, RC would have made sure they were good, I would think. You wouldn't be on your own tv special, and have a crappy choir, would you? Well maybe...but I would think RC would have had some say...
