They say desperate times call for desperate measures, and I am actually thinking of selling my treasure trove of Carpenters things on Ebay. I have an original fan club bracelet and a felt pennant from the fan club, and quite a few autographed things, including a "Get Well' note signed by Karen and Richard. I have an autographed "to me" b&w 8x10 of the "director's chair photo' and an autographed 8x10 full color page of a magazine with a promotional picture from "Make Your Own Kind of Music".
I also have a fairly complete set of newsletters from the fan club from issue number one.
It would break my heart to sell these things, but it seems foolish to hang on to them if I could get a decent price. What do you all think they would be worth?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
By the way, you may email me at mamanook@comcast.net if you are interested in any of these things.

Oh my God!....
I would rather sell myself before selling anything related to C's!
Well..., not really, just rent myself...
Seriously: I have no idea, I couldn't think of a price for something so priceless to me.

The best thing to do is to open up the selling to the people here..... that's what they do on the vaseline glass yahoo group I belong to. When someone wants to sell their collection they open it up to the group first. They do it privately thru emails, but sometimes they post pictures so the group can see the items for sale.
Good luck! I have my Carpenters stuff in a plastic bin down the basement...... once in awhile I think of selling it.... after all, who would I leave it to?

My treasure is a mint-condition Offering album I bought last year on CD-EXPRESS in Netherlands. It was a whole month salary. But I paid every penny with the gratest joy!
I just couldn't believe it once it was in my hands.
I was just like
Do you get the picture?
Since 1969 it flew from USA to Europe (and who knows where else!) and finally to Uruguay (South America)... to my home!
