Hello, my name is John and I am from Melbourne Australia. I became a real fan of Carpenters music only a few months ago and purely by accident I went to a local CD shop which has has a lot of bargain basement pricing on cds and dvds I managed to pick up two titles and one of them was the Carpenters Gold DVD. I was totally hooked by the angelic voice of Karen and the beautiful musics that carpenters were making. I have bought more Carpenters CDs and read a lot more about Karen and Carpenters. It is sad to learn that Karen passed away at possibly the best time of her life at 32 she sure left us a lot of wonder music.
