No Time For Goodbye

puppy's Photo puppy 22 Sep 2008

I was reading this book on my vacation and the Carpenters appeared a few times in the book.... have a look. It's a relatively new release, published in hardcover in Oct 2007 and paperback in 2008.

Haha, so it was a couple of times? I bet the author likes the Carpenters then! That passage is interesting.

Thank you for sharing, Linda!! bowdown.gif

Can anyone happen to share the part of Carpenters or Karen Carpenter in Engelbert Humperdinck's book? I noticed that mentioned in the article about Engelbert Humperdinck, but it was not available at Amazon.JP any more.

I've not read it, but it is meant to be a really good book.

I think it was in the "Richard & Judy" book club last year. "Richard & Judy" being a chat-show on TV in the UK (ex-Channel 4 and now on some tiny cable channel) and once they mention a book in their book club series, it tends to become a bestseller.

If it's the same book, it got some really good reviews.
